In the Spring of 2023, California experienced a Superbloom that was actually visible from space! So, I grabbed my camera bag and headed to Carrizo Plain National Monument in beautiful Santa Margarita, CA. An enclosed grassland plain approximately 50 miles long and up to 15 miles across, it did NOT disappoint. This photo to the right is where I camped COMPLETELY away from everyone for 3 glorious days.
